No spare as its got lpg tank in spare wheel well. I do carry a repair kit but was beyond that.
I checked pressures yesterday knowing I had a long drive to do and they were fine.. I'd just been to the previous services for coffee so I think I picked up a nail or something there.
Hey ho, these things happen. First puncture I've had in over 10 years so I can't complain.
If anyone has a spare 20" L322 wheel knocking around cheap, I'd be interested.

Not very strong at nearly 20yr old and 210.000 MLS . Diff oils done last year and props checked and always greased. :) I think accelerated wear due to gentle offroading may be leading to early bed for the front diff!!:eek:

No matter how you look at it, regular off-roading really stresses components. And many of the roads aren't much better.
 
I stuck her through a local carwash then brought her home and gave her a polish.

Not too bad, but the ruddy wood-pigeons have left a lasting impression on the paintwork and I have no idea how to or even if it can be removed @biketeacherdave any suggestions?

and to top it all, the enemy saw me doing such a fine job they insisted I turn to and do their Mini All-4 too. Bloody cheek I calls it ;)

I know @Mark Piercy , it shouldn't really be allowed. Cleaning a car in the Sun is hard work.
19yrs old this year and still <20K on the clock. Probably a ringer or a cut-n-shut special but it would have been a lot of work to put it together this good; even the seats are all unmarked/un-creased.
I paid a kings ransom for it and I felt really stupid afterwards, but it was looking/feeling like new when I bought it in 2017.

Mine had a period where the nuts holding the diff to the axle case kept coming loose letting the oil seep away.
Do you have a spare diff?

I do Keith, I've two. Front and rear. I need to clear the garage and pull it's nose out. I'll start with the drive shafts and hopefully I may find the movement in one of them.. it only clicks on going from a stopping and changing into to reverse or from a stop into drive.
More like a clunk.
I pulled the front driveshaft off this afternoon and the movement in the prop flange was identical to the rear movement but obviously something is a bit slack inside.... The oil has a trace of black in it but clearish ...

You need a hair dryer on max setting from anything from 3 to 15 mins....honestly

I had a click going from forward to reverse as slack in the drivetrain was taken up. Heard it from rear offside with window open. Wammers pulled out a TSB where it said to glue the driveshaft splines in the hub using green Loctite, 648? No clicks / clunks since.

Thinking about it, mine started after some offroading too.
