No (I know, I know), but I don't wade that often so haven't bothered before now, I will be getting some though. They aren't relevant to this specific problem anyway. No need for the sarcasm ;) Being sealed bearings it never occurred to me to grease them, but I'll make sure they are well...

Yeah I did check all the wheel bearings etc, even changed transmission, transfer box and diff oils (were due anyway), but how can I protect all the engine ancillary bearings? I appreciate continued wading isn't good for it but surely there is something I can do to stop them all failing within...

Looks RWD, the engine is mounted longitudinally not transverse.

With the front end 'tucked' like that, and the arse up in the air, maybe they are creating something for the drag strip? Would explain why they are chirping on about weight too, and the Zetec is a very tunable engine, especially with a blower attached. No good in a Disco for 'normal' duties, but...

When I ordered a 'no name' prop shaft from Paddocks I was expecting it to be ****part as it was much cheaper than a GKN, when it turned up it was a Bailey-Morris. Quality seems excellent.

Here's my 110 on 33x12.5x15 tyres, 15x10 wheels with a -32 offset. No lift, just HD springs on the front to make up for the weight of the bumper/winch:

Mine never comes off, not only is it handy, it looks awesome and me lights are bolted to it :D
