    Brake issue driving me mad

Given what you have done so far, I would replace one caliper and see if that fixes the issue on that side. for just over £30 its not too much to shell out

    Brake issue driving me mad

Well it can only be three things for me. Both calipers are still sticking which sounds unlikely. The master cylinder is causing positive pressure making the callipers put pressure on the pads, I have never had this happen, has anyone else??? An abs system causing positive pressure, never known...

    Brake issue driving me mad

I have spent 26 years working on cars. Brakes can be very frustrating, My last car a Volvo was the same. The rear brakes kept sticking. No matter how many times I stripped the callipers the brakes kept sticking. I replaced the hoses, the hand brake cables, the discs and the pads (four times as...

    Brake issue driving me mad

had this several times and if you have done the calipers, it will be the flexy hoses, they collapse inside. you can get some shiny stainless ones for about £80.

    Freelander 1 Modified Oil Rail - 1.8 K series 2005

ok so did the head on the MG last year. people recomend using copper heating pipe cut to length and the old head bolts to clamp the liners in place. easy cheap option if you need to move the crack when head is off. would reccomend the extra tension bolts. Also do the cam belt, water pump...

    1.8 petrol Tickover/ running problem

Just been on an MG forum as there are loads of k series threads, as you can see from the phone, I own one for my sins. The idle control valve can cause the problems you are having BUT fitting a new one needs to be set up correctly using the correct software. According to people who I think know...

Air Temp sensor part number td4

I think cleaning the sensor in pics three and four would be advised for me. you did a very thoruogh job there. Did it fix it, no not really as I said above its like etrol running on 3 when it cold, but its fine if I unplug the sensor.

Air Temp sensor part number td4

Removed the sensor today and gave it a clean. When the car is cold with it pluged it like a 4 cylider petrol running on 3 cylinders but it s ok hot. Unplugged cold runs smooth as it should, however has less power when the turbo kicks in. Picture of the sensor so peeps know what it looks like.
