    the paperwork is no guarantee that the jobs done well , my car had a single point system when i bought it fitted by a very well know v8 tuning company , complete with paperwork !!!!!! and if thats a typical example of their workmanship i would`nt let them loose on a wheelbarrow :mad: . anyway...

    no mate the sensor at the front of the motor is the cam sensor , the cps is on the l/h side of the engine ( opposite side to starter ) and about maybe the same level as the starter , you should be able to see / feel the wire running down to it . rick.

    i sold my lse which was in a bloody sight better order than that piece of sh*t and with an lpg conversion , and factory fitted brooklands kit , leather interior as the lse should be for just over half the price that guy is looking for , i hope it stays fine for him :D :D :D . rick.

    hi mate if you jack up the front and as irish says give it a good wipe down all around the switch , have a decent handlamp or torch and you should be able to see if its the oil switch at fault especially if you warm up the motor first . rick.

    i totally agree with wills on this and tbh i would be thinking about getting a decent independant specialist to diagnose the problem , blowing out the system :confused: :confused: :confused: the system has an air dryer / filter to do just that . keep it on air mate as wills says its the best...

    How long does your gas last?

    i get about 140 miles to 55 ltrs of lpg , but mine needs setting up i know that its running a bit on the rich side on lpg , the display says its doing 21.6 average mpg :confused: . rick.

    topping up or refilling either front or rear diff , or the transfer box for that matter is dead easy . if your certain this is where the fault lies , i would be tempted to drop the oil from each unit in turn and first of all check to see if there are any silvery / metallic particals in them ...

    thanks for the reply , i guessed that may be the case ! the engine came from a later model but is still a gems engine , as i said i went of the numbers stamped on the coil mounting bracket which were both identical on both engines so i assumed this would be correct :confused: . rick.

    hiya the leads your talking about are called magnacor leads , you can do a search on ebay for them and get them at resonable money , the chip how ever you wont need , well mine does`nt anyway if its a multipoint system and its set up properly it should run fine without the need of a chip...
