i use grease in landie but its low speed and millage, in my Disco i always use oil high speed and mileage, you get better lubricant grease tends to throw out and stay in one place

I took front section down to do leaking sunroof it took 2 of us about 2 Hrs to completion. carefull you dont let it crease when it hangs down

It could be intermitant fault on switch, or the oil pump has ware and cant keep pressure when oil is hot and thin, get a pressure test on now dont leave it.

Has it had fuel filt changed regular, i trust you dont run the tank down to fumes b4 fill up. Its a very sensitve fuel system and wont tollerate any crap in it, so its probably to late changeing filtre now, if its not been done regular b4. Hope it turns out simple, they can be ****s.

Like the guy says the doors need to be shut, but there has to be sensors on the doors telling the computer the doors are shut so it can alow vehicle to raise. so could a problem be there Mark

Just found out got no brake or reversing lights on Disco TD5, can anyone tell me are they on a comon fuse or do i have problems else were

If on Td5 its most likely a back axel half shaft problem

I have this knock when i go from foreward to reverse on 52 plate TD5. It is the rear half shaft, not got round to sorting it yet so cant tell you any moore, other than it is geting moore frequent. its not bushes and iam told quit a rare fault or is it Mark

My heater on these cold days takes a good 6 miles to get warm. Is this normal (i think not) or is it. Or do i need to fit new stat. Mark

Yes i got that one and the plate under bonnet, but is there not some ground into chassie or the actual body

Could anyone tell me were all the varies I.D numbers are hidden on my 52 plate Disco I can find nothing on chassis for starters but then i guess they hide them well is there any hidden in the body work, were is the engine number. Any help most welcome. Mark
