My wife just got in from a trip from Belgrade, she said the Oil light had been on for the last 20 minutes of the Journey.

(I changed the oil last week)
I went out and looked but there isn't a pool of oil underneath.
It's too cold to have a look now. But she also said the temp gauge went down to zero.
Hmm. hopefully a problem with the electrics.
It's a V8 '94
Any Ideas?

Plot thickens, I went and checked the oil this morning, all OK. started it up, oil light went out as normal,
Went and told her to leave off the 'crack' as she was imagining things!
Had a big row and now probably won't get any dinner.
Bollox.

It could be intermitant fault on switch, or the oil pump has ware and cant keep pressure when oil is hot and thin, get a pressure test on now dont leave it.

Just stick a new switch on for £3, if problem persists then start worrying!

I'm flying to England tomorrow, so I'll chuck the thing in the mechanics, let him check it over (and screw me) and if it needs bits I can post them.
