Spares or repairs. Selling my 1997 Range Rover P38 4.0SE Auto, in Oxford blue. Full grey leather interior
Passed MOT this morning, so tested until 5th Oct 2021.
Has 4 18" alloys with General Grbber AT2 tyres (8mm all round). Also has an 18" General grabber spare, with a different tread...
Just had a similar issue on the TVR, ran a sniff test on the coolant expansion tank, and the fluid turned yellow. Got it booked in for new (composite) head gaskets, head skim, new cam, followers, timing chain, etc.
Different car and different gearbox, but when I lost 2nd and 3rd on the LT77 box in my TVR, it turned out to be the bushes connecting the remote housing to the main gearbox.
Fired the old girl up for the first time in 4 weeks.
First turn of the key.
Just need to drop the seats and load her up with 30 odd bags of conifer shreddings (not all at once), then do a few tip runs during the week,
Some for sale on fleabay.

To be honest, a lot of my mates (TVR) don't rate the Magnecor leads, A standard set of leads (don't buy anything with Intermotor on though) will do the trick
Fired her up for the first time in 3 weeks (I too have a solar panel, and a 12v on the parcel shelf support). Purring, so I took her round a few local lanes, then got home and treat her to some snow foam.
Well, just taken Hank (he's big, he's blue and he's a beast) for his first MOT in my ownership.
Passed with flying colours.
Only thing I did before was replace middle box. (£40 delivered from Paddocks).
Not done them on the RR, but I did the gaskets on the TVR !! 8 hours, had to take all vac and electric of the engine, undo the mounts, jack the car up 18 inches and the engine a further 12 inches. Bugger of a job.
