Yes. The Sunny were already on there. They get terrible reviews, and I wouldn't touch then with a barge pole. Can't wait to get rid of them.

Thanks for the advice. The car is reasonablly new to me, and when I got it the previous owner obviously hadnt bothered changing them in 4s as the front were already quite low with the rears being much newer. Being a bit of a skin flint (especially this time of year) I would rather not replace...

I need 2 new front tyres for the FL2. The rears have approx 5mm left on them so are fine. Trying to read some threads on here, but most info seemed to be around the FL1. However I am quite confused. Does it make a difference which axle has the newest tyres? Should I just get the new tyres on...

Nodge. I didnt realise this. I replaced the electronic throttle body on mine 2 months ago due to the plastic gears stripping. I havent had any calibration done. The vehicle seems OK. Have I been lucky, or is the car likely not performing as it should and I should get it recalibarated? Thx

It's a good question which I was tempted to ask, because on a BMW 5 series diesel I had a few years ago, when the swirl flaps were removed you had to fit blanking plates in their place.

Sent Austen at Bell the picture of my haldex/diff pre-cleaning. His reply was "blimey, that is bad!!!". Subsequently he has suggested I disable the Haldex pump in the interim until the FL2 is at Bell. From some Googling I see there are 2 possible ways to do this - either pulling the fuse (FB6?)...

GrumpyGel Thx. I have spoken with Austin at Bell. He thinks it will need a Haldex service and new Piston seal. Quoted £150 + VAT + seal, which is half the price of everywhere else. Unfortunately he cant do it until 29th October. He has however assured me it will be fine to drive in that time...

Visited transmission specialist this morning and showed him the pictures. He said that this will be caused by the rear diff breather pipe being blocked, and subsequently blowing a seal between rear diff and haldex (i think thats what he meant anyway). Quoted £275 + VAT to service Halldex and...

Haldex is due to be serviced in approx 3 weeks, but i'm worried now that I need to either not drive the vehicle until then, or get it serviced somewhere else quicker. I am worried I could run it dry and make things worse. Can that happen?

He's just big boned!!! Actually he's probably more like 38. But he is a big boy, and certainly not easy to get in to the back of the car. For the larger males, I think that's fairly average from what i've seen?
