Hi that's what I was doing checking the shoes too see if they needed replaced it dose have new brake spring clips fitted and all looks clean and dry the clicking when breaking only started after I put the top shoe back in the slot of the piston its a 2001 1.8

Hi I was checking the rear drivers side brake as the handbrake was not good I found one of the shoes was not in the slot of the cylinder after sorting that I now have a clicking sound when braking I have took the drum back off but cant see what is causing the clicking anyone got any idea thanks

I do but he still makes me smile with some of his remarks so I get cheered up a bit

what a right pain in the neck this system is the person or persons who thought of it should be sacked the whole system is so blooming annoying one minute it works the next minute the three lights are back on so I clean the sensors and it works for a short time then its off again mine is doing...

the hdc will turn off when the brakes get too hot so always be ready to use your foot on the brake

I have always had someone shooting from the front passenger seat and the driver working the lamp no matter what 4x4 I used at the time

well I put new discs and pads on yesterday and this seems to have cured the abs lights working and not working also the car use to seem it was braking slightly at junctions has stopped as well :D:D:D

I got the ones kevins put the link too I phoned them as I don't use ebay I paid by card and they got them delivered next day even got a text to say when ie 13.20 to 14.20 :):)

has anyone tried to unscrew the vcu ??? or tried a h/press etc to separate it

there is videos on you tube but they are talking germen they srip it down and replace with thick clear fluid
