Ok, i have taken then bolts out of the windscreen, back x member, behind the seat box. I am really having trouble with the ones at the bottom of the door post/bulk head. Have i missed any thing? it does not seem to budge.

Dont worry about that, it was a temp bodge. The black outlet which goes to the clear, that reapears in the pic to the right should go to the solid black which goes to the engine. The clear with the cross's in it is the return.

Betty was petrol, then i droped in the 12j, on top of the sender (marked as #1) i used that as the fuel line to the engine. Just above the sender (marked as #2) is some sort of breather (i think) but i used that as a return. Hope this pic helps. Also for some reason the sender has 1 wire ?

Ok i get you now, thats the same arangement as mine too(not the same numbers) mine do not have SAL infront either.

Yes on the first link it tells you about the numbering, TBH i did not read it fully. The other 2 link will let you put in your number and it will tell you about it. I put in my 14 digit numbers and it said it wanted 17 digits. I then just pul SAL infront and it came up with all the info...

The top + glass bowl is from the petrol, The bottom with the pump and diaphragm is the orig from the diesel. The arm (what goes in the engine) was different on the petrol.

Cheers guys, never got round to starting it anyway, ended up wonder why no fuel was coming through. So lift pump was removed, cleaned diaphragm. Then found a split fuel pipe, started to fix and still would not prime. Took fuel pipe from tank to find it gunked up (no fuel coming up), got that...
