I cut alot of patches for my chassis. Started off with a grinder and hacksaw but ended up using a jigsaw with 'bosch aggressor' metal cutting blades. So long as you keep the blades well oiled they last forever. Good control, accuracy, no finishing required.....

Same thing. I found the hardtop roof scraped the garage door on the way in... once fully in the door dropped back down thus rendering the Landy wedged in! Thankfully with a bikini top on I can drive in & out desite the slope... but the full soft top requires removing before exiting...

Bought my repair channels from eBay. Seller was spglobalparts. Very happy with both parts and seller. But following what you've said... It's more than a days job to chop, prep, weld, prime and paint if you include drying times! G'luck!

Yeah and the water when it's raining and you haven't got the hood up in time! That said, the tubular one does the job very well and is a bit more 'factory' than the mud version.

Black one is a bit too Lara croft for me Red interior has some nice workmanship that should have been left in the alfa. Might have to borrow the black ones bumper & sliders.

Painted mine the bronze green too. Nice choice! I went for 6mm fluted rubber mat in the back. Bloody expensive though if you just buy a roll for that. A genuine moulded lr mat is expensive but certainly looks the part. Keep up the good work!

No... They're quite specific nuts. Quite a narrow OD and a tight fit to get over the lack of hubcentric. Look good though.

yes.... but they'll rattle on the hubs a bit and won't be 'hub centric'. You need the correct Compomotive bolts too and they're very difficult to come across if they're not with the wheels already. Without hubcentric, they're a pain to bolt up as you have to hold them central over the studs to...
