    Bent chassis... straighten or replace?

Go for a galv one. waxoyl and paint it and it'll live for ever! if the rear cross member is gone its going to be a lot easier, and last longer.

    First Car

Hello. Great first car! It'll be more fun than a silly little thing (I drove my aunts 206 for months, boring car, everything worked! and my mini never worked so I rode the mountain bike everywhere, useful car that was) and a lot more practical too. have fun with it. To continue the...

    Great Dane + Freelander

Yes build a stronger ramp, lowering it will be a lot of work! the dog ramps I've seen tend to be fairly flimsy really, when I consider the size of my Labrador on them too, there is plenty of space for improvement on them.

Looks pretty cool i reckon i will see you around the roads, im not as recognisable in my disco as your 110 though. Would it be a safe assumption to think you probably shoot too?

    Widetrack Sankey Trailer

I have both. Our widetrack was 225 if i remember correctly but it must have been 10 years ago. The tub is shot now but we can do something with that. The wide track is better as it has the tailgate too imo, but keep searching ebay something will turn up.

looking to put a rear cage on 110 double cab

That sounds like a pretty good idea. Ive never seen it done but the materials wont be hard to come by, and shouldn't be too hard to weld together either. If you base it on the dimensions of the current frame and work from there you shouldn't go to far wrong really? as for the rear door, make a...

    Landy Zone Map

Ive added myself on there, I think! I also added RST landrovers who are near me. If any locals need them then it may make it easier to spot.

What have you done to your Landie today.

whoo got the CB wired up this evening and went for a drive with it on channel 19, and despite my lorry driver neighbour saying no one ever uses them, there were a few people on there. I just need to set the thing up properly with the meter on friday so hopefully it will work and I can hear...

    Puddles

I like to play splash in the landy, as do my brother and dad. It has to be done really. I know the roads pretty well round here and know which bits are flooded most often so not too bad. There is an area not far from me with a mill pond that drains to the river, except on a high tide where it...

Haha this is just asking for trouble  but really... everything still works? have you double checked any of the lesser used items for a while to see if they still want to play. There must be something that wont work?

What have you done to your Landie today.

I just got a 1.5m CB antenna bolted to the roof, and my grandads old CB radio bolted inside too on the passenger side of the centre console. All I need to do it run the live and earth in. They are tucked away in the drivers side fuse box area. Anyone know where the live needs to go to? If not...

Newbie - restoration with my lad

That looks like a good place to start, although im a firm believer in learning from taking it apart first (a lot more oppertunities to use the angle grinder and get absolutely covered in oil dirt and grease) a 90 will be great to learn on. Nice and easy to work on really. My dad did the same...

What have you done to your Landie today.

I drew the short straw and had to take the pile of damp old carpets to the tip, now my car stinks. And as I was going there I also had to take about 50 litres of old oil too, so the back is covered in that too. Brilliant. Why it wasnt taken in the series 3 which doesn't have carpet in it to fill...

    Top speed from Series 3?

Our series 3 88" diesel with overdrive will get to 55, but it is a bit of a racket, and it has an 18yr old behind the wheel who is usually late for work! It has been completely rebuilt recently though so is in pretty good tune at the moment. It is also running the 11" brakes so has slightly...
