Hi guys. New to the forum so I thought I'd say hello.

Bought my first car on Saturday, a 1995 Defender hard top. Loving it so far.

I grew up with Land Rovers (parent's had a classic Range Rover and currently have a Disco 3) so a Defender was the only clear choice for my first car.

Looks like some great resources on here. I look forward to being part of the community.

Thanks

Hehe. Get a NO BRAKES sticker printed in reverse so when they look in their mirror they really will be upset! :D

Seriously, while chasing them might be fun, you may take a little farther to stop ;) - drop back a little. Being able to go anywhere is probably more fun than going faster ...

To stereotype younger drivers a bit further - at least you can help recover your mate's cars after they've ended up in the farmer's field :D  :censored:

Diff.

Hello. Great first car! It'll be more fun than a silly little thing (I drove my aunts 206 for months, boring car, everything worked! and my mini never worked so I rode the mountain bike everywhere, useful car that was) and a lot more practical too. have fun with it.

To continue the stereotyping, most of my friends have crashed their cars in some form, micras rolling over, puntos into ditches, my friend putting my 206 inside the tent we were supposed to be camping in! but my brother rolled the series 3 after a week and a half of driving so take it easy! they aren't fast cars and don't really drive like them either.
