    Wheel nuts

They will if your wheels are for a Range rover from 2002-2005. 2006 onwards will need the later type nuts like the ones fitted to disco3 and RR sport. Try one of your nuts in your new wheels and see if they are a sloppy fit in the hole. They should be a snug fit. Having said that, I have...

    Clutch

I can do it for £250 on a 1.8. £350 for a Td4, you supply the bits. No need to take the engine out, the gearbox is far easier to remove. I did brianash's clutch for him.

    Tailgate Window

Does the rear wiper work? If not then this will be your problem, if the ccu thinks the wiper is on then it wont allow you to open the window. Seen this many times and can often be confused for a window fault.

    Front wiper problem

You need to check that there is an ignition live to the motor when the wipers are turned off, this is the feed to the park switch inside the motor. If there is an ignition feed then its a motor fault (not uncommon). If there is no feed then you need to check your wiring starting with the...

    Whirring Noise

General costs of parts for a freelander

if you're a competent diy mechanic then you could tackle most things, they're not difficult to work on. The only things you may get stuck on are ABS faults and the like where you need diagnostic equipment. As for parts, stay clear of main dealers and get stuff from bearmach or ebay. Before...

have a look on ebay. It doesn't need to be a freelander one, just make any leather boot fit. Discovery boots are quite big so you could make one of those fit.

    TD4 2002my on service schedule

If you have "crud" in your sump then your engine has big problems. Sludge in the sump only happens when the oil in not changed for tens of thousands of miles. I personally don't use the sucker as it takes longer than draining it properly. Also there is no need to take the undertray right off...
