just rewiring my series 2a 109. fitted a new tank sender unit . the gauge reads full when the sender is at the bottom and as I lift it goes to full. tried another gauge and this behaves the same . it was never fitted with a voltage stabaliser but I have tried it with and without. if I reverse...

I think I can see where the split pin went in .about a quarter of an inch in and in line with the spring bracket. polish it up with emery strip and you will see it then just drill it out and fit with new split pin and washer

Paddocks sell the weber carb conversion kit for £155 inc vat and carraige

if the chassis is bare with no engine gearbox or body on then you will need to compress the springs before the shocks will fit.

the 2.5 petrol engine from early 90 is an easy swap and will not put a strain on anything but it goes uphill nice.

so would they be the same as early 110 nuts. I can find the part no for them ok.

Just replaced back axle on my series 2a for a late ex mod sailsbury axle. Everything great except the wheel studs are a larger thread. I ordered nuts from paddock but they were wrong as well. Anybody know the part no of the ones I need please.

I fitted one piece defender seals to my series 2a but you have to grind off the small lip on the bodywork, the seal then fits on with a tap from a mallet.

looks correct except for grille which should be the maltese cross grille. expect to pay about 150 pounds for one of these.

have you got a pre=engaged starter or an enertia type as the ring gear may be the wrong type for the starter

if the master cylinder push rod is over adjusted the fluid cannot return from the system into the reservoir. check pushrod adjustment

found these pictures of reg no 3 later than mine. rebuilding onto new chassis.

put axle stands under chassis and remove wheels. when you bolt up new springs leave loose until on the ground , roll it back and forward then tighten up the bolts.
