Yes I got a towcar, a R/R of course, the 1 in my avatar. OK Thanks for the offer, but I need it moved by the 13th of Feb, or I pay another months rental. Will take a look around Weston to see if there is anywhere local to borrow a trailer from.
Thanks, it wasn't taken personally, any info is greatly received.
Unfortunately none of my mates have a car trailer, so I will check my local directory. Hopefully get 1 fairly cheap.
OK Point made.
I get the idea now, I need to use a trailer. As I am not a jerk, or was aware of the fact that any towed vehicle needs tax and mot, but thankyou to everyone who has pointed this out to me.
I guess its off to find my local trailer rental establishment.
Thanks again for all...
Hi, yes that is what I have, a gear lever, with H-N-L on it, and I want to move it approx 15 miles.
Is it ok to tow it this sort of distance without any lasting/expensive damage?
:o SORRY should have explained fully to start with.
I have a '72 manual classic, and also a '83 auto classic, and it is the '83 I need to tow.
Thanks for all the replies by the way.
But can I tow it :confused2:
Hi again, does anyone know if it will be OK to tow an auto if I put the Hi/Low range box into neutral  as I tried it with my manual RR, put it into 1st gear and let the clutch out, and it never moved, so will doing this disconnect the drive from the wheels???
Will these do the job
