    Shim removal easy method?

You can easily remove a shim without worrying about anything else. Just top 2 bolts to remove. Make sure you support the whole swivel assembley when you pull the pin out remove a shim and refit. I think I'm right in saying the preload settings mentioned above are supposed to be done before the...

Turns but won't fire. Another one joins the club.

Try running a constant live to your stop solenoid.

    Brown Engine Coolant

It can also be a sign of a failing head gasket. Even if it is the car could run for a while like that.

    Snow Plough

I'm about to start building a plough for this year. Just wondering if anyone knows what the law is on them and did you guys tell your insurance? I just figured I'd leave it bolted on all of winter. I hardly use the car anyway except at the weekends. Cheers mark

    Help please

Have you checked the throttle cable isn't jammed open or the idle stop screw far too far out on the pump.

    stupid gray smoke

One of the first things I would have checked was the rockers to make sure the valves are opening properly. I'd also me checking your timing to make sure its right. Then if be doing a compression test. Injectors are one of the last things I would buy. No point in spending money on parts without...

    Disco 1 air lockers

Suspension still helps, the more articulation the more grip. Just think what you could do with both! Rather than one or the other.

    Disco 1 air lockers

Yes I have ashcroft lockers in my front and rear axles. I also bought them from steve at crown Diffs and would highly recommend him. They make a huge difference if your a serious off roader. I was constantly breaking standard Diffs and got fed up having to rebuild axles so thought about...

    Changed belts, but still Squealing

Try only having 1 belt on at a time as this might tell you where it's coming from. That or run it with none to make sure its not the timing belt/water pump. You can get squeeling from failed bearings so it could be any of the pulley or tensioner wheels also.

    High or Low Ratio ????

It would take a long time to drive everywhere in low!
