I've got a small mountney wheel and a 6 bolt box also, did have some problems a while ago with the steering being stiff, it was 1 of the swivels on the steering column. You say you have a few bits lying around maybe you could change the size of the pulley so the pump spins faster. Lee

Have you checked that the swivels arn't binding? other option is join a gym. Lee

You say that there is power at the fuse box but none at the bulkhead, sounds like a broken wire to me, send a new wire direct to lamp unit and see if it cures problem. Lee

Think he said it's the rear, although it's still only gearbox out, could inspect the clutch at the same time, Stick with it I say. Lee

Think about wiring in a relay under the bonnet so you can do away with the hand held lead and instead have a toggle switch in the cab, believe it's a relay off a FLT. Lee

Seeing as you will be able to do repairs yourself, you will probably save money in the long run, yes it will cost more in diesel, but with all the companies specialising in replacement parts all the consumables like brake pads and other service items are easily cheaper than an Ibiza, I say go...

Don't buy the cheapy ones from Paddocks, they last weeks not months, fitted some GKN to mine a while back and seem to be doing well after maybe 20,000 miles, regular grease is the key. Lee

could be a leaking hub seal or just the plastic cap. if hub seal follow Busters method. mine ****ed oil out but was only a split cap. Lee
