just thought I'd post a couple of pics of my defender.
Bought it last June as a blue pick up, body and interior was well rough but the chassis was good.
I did a bit of welding to the doors and bulkhead, sorted the interior, handpainted the body,and fitted the soft top etc. Mate of mine dropped in a nice 200tdi from a disco along with the disco transfer box - runs well sweet with plenty of power and the gearing all feels right.
Only use it at weekends but would be happy to use as a daily driver, I love it!
Fixed another defender up a few years back and always regretted selling it, I'm hanging on to this one.
