Trying to put a v8 lt77s in my 90 (originally a 2.5 na doozel) but having issues with the seat box as the bit on the side of the box for the cooler pipes is hitting, so I can either cut away the seat box to get it to fit in or, this bit I'm not sure I can do, is remove the bit that the cooler...

Also check fuel pump as they have a habit of just giving up and leaving you with no power

Zen did you manage to sort out the issue you had with a thermostat? Just built my 4.0 and don't want to use that silly pigs heart thingy when fitting it to my fender.

I think you have to have the ecu connected up to something like rovercom and there is a setting in the software to change it from 4.0 to 4.6

Rpi are good at selling stuff and there claims are greatly exagarated, while some info on there site is good a lot is just scare mongering ,a few years ago when I had my p38 4.6 I bought the mark Adams chips from them expensive and tbh didn't make much difference tbh, but the just my opinion.

10 bolt heads have a smaller cc than the 14 bolt so if using composite gasket compression ratio should be the same if using tin you will up the compression but don't think it will increase performance that much, think the valves are the same but don't quote me on that also 10 bolt heads have...
