hi folks. i had done a manual conversion from auto on my disco 1 3.9v8. i have a full 5ltr of automatic transmision oil i think fully synthetic. can i put that in a manual gearbox or is the oil a diffrent grade. as theres talk about mtf94 oil

should there be one for it to connect 2 on this box ive fitted.if not how do i get the speedo to work.

oh right must be off disco 2 then because i had to make a gearbox mountain for the passengerside gearbox.as the disco1 was totally diffrent and i had to pop back to the breakers to get the gearbox mount as the bolt holes were diffrent. also i had to swap the mechanisum off the disco1 transferbox...

hi no i got that one 2 seperate spade connectors on transfer box connected those 2.this is a blac plug in on back of box its on the side in a gap just between the brake drom and box

hi. i use a strong arm and i put it through the passengerside. then i put a sling round the gearbox and then get the balance so the back of the box tilts back.then i hoist the box up with the sling hanging down were the gear stick comes up better this way than on jacks. the first mistake i did...

took me 3 days to do it on my own i was well ****ed off ,so is it the gearbox side ive broken or the torq converter.

what do you think i have broke as i should have fitted the torq converter back into gear box housing. but i did it the other way round left the torq converter on engine and fitted box to engine . whats likely to have broke and could it be fixed.thanks
