hi again. just done a manual conversion from auto on a disc1 1995 v8. i have one black plug connector left that comes off the loom and fits down at the back of the handbrake drum onto the box .can any one tell me what this is for.all the rest of the wireing connectors i have done reason why this one dont fit on this box is because its off a disco2 v8.regards paul

reverse lights and start inhibitor. start inhibitor wires need joining together and connect reverse to box.

hi no i got that one 2 seperate spade connectors on transfer box connected those 2.this is a blac plug in on back of box its on the side in a gap just between the brake drom and box

hi james do i need it.also small mistake the box i fitted is off a p38.and there is no were to plug it in on this box.

p38 box wouldnt fit ,the props would be on lh side ,disco 1 needs a speedo tranducer if you want speedo to work

oh right must be off disco 2 then because i had to make a gearbox mountain for the passengerside gearbox.as the disco1 was totally diffrent and i had to pop back to the breakers to get the gearbox mount as the bolt holes were diffrent. also i had to swap the mechanisum off the disco1 transferbox onto the disco2 transferbox so i could get the diff lock to work as it was not connected as to select hi/low it had a cable operated system so done away with that and had to cut housing on the disco1 transferbox selector houseing and make a mount bracket for the selector to fit just in front of the gear stick selector.
