no, not standard, it means it did leak, so someone filled it full of sealant to stop it leaking

standard height is more than enough off road, tyre choice is more important. all depends on what you want to use your truck for really, bog standard and all terrain tyres will get you over most greenlanes and still give you good road maners. a 2 inch lift means more body roll and very chunky...

Arrrgg:emps1: just spent two hours replacing my handbrake shoes, half hour actually changing the shoes, hour and a half looking for the bloody retaining pin. Thing is, I think simply adjusting the shoes would have done as there were plenty of meat left,just got it into my head they were toast...

Just fitted one myself last week. Take steering wheel off first, more access, then undue speedo cable, then its just 3block connectors to take the old binnacle out. Once out you can swap over dials etc sat in the comfort of ones living room. Did you get the metal mount as well? Easy job well...

have you allways run insa turbos? would it be possible to "borrow" a set of more road biased tyres and see how the vibrations is. i run insa turbos and there very noisy and send vibrations through the truck varying at different speeds. when i swap over to bfg at all is well.

See what you mean Mandy, looks close. The diff guard sits slightly off the diff and looks like it might foul. Why not try fitting the guard and see, 10 minute job.

I noticed my up and over door on me garage had same type of barrel as me truck, and was fed up of trying to open the garage with the wrong key I fitted new barrels to my new truck doors and one on the garage;)

EBay, can get as many barrels as you need with same key. I've even fitted same barrel to my garage so I only need one key.
