Mine has the seperate switch as it is a facelift ,but when i push it the green light flashes and when i engage 1st or reverse gear the light is on constant whether it;s stationary or moving . Trev.

Hi, i presume they have told you this because it has twin tail pipes ,if so the original td4 boxes were twin tail pipe so i wouldnt worry about it to much

no problems at all , mine is a five door though, but i would have thought everything would be roughly in the same position any probs give me a shout ,i will be away till wednesday though . regards Trev

looking at the bulbs they should be fine and give a much better light .

hi when i did mine i managed to pull the panel on drivers side out enough to plug in electrics ,just have to remove four screws across back pull off that piece of plastic ,four plastic screw ins on the side panel and ease out ,plug is there.Relay on mine is in drivers side fuse box in car on...

My 2003 se has powerfold mirrors, most of the time they are great but every now and then they throw a bit of a wobbley, one goes out other doesnt then that swaps around to the other one doing it, then neither go out or if out wont go in ,leave a couple of minutes then they work fine for weeks...

both my bolts have 10mm heads ,i didnt jack it up or take wheel off ,just turned full right hand down took off guard and hey presto as i said apart from bolts were very tight job is easy .

changed both the aux drivebelt and the air con belt , pretty easy job only problem i had was the 10mm headed bolt that is the locking one ,the one that slides came undone ok but that one woudnt budge so i put a socket on the adjusting nut with a short breaker bar and worked it a bit , just moved...

I dont have a synergy but i do run a bluespark cr tech multi map ,and when i bought this from them they told me that the engine was originally designed to take 160bhp, so as long as you only up the power a bit and dont go ott then there should;nt be any problems as i can see .

congrats teddywood1 its nice to hear when things go right for a change ,we all moan about our freelanders at some stage , but they aint that bad , the proofs there with your wife's .

I got a mate who is a farmer he has a freelander 2 and believe me this works for a living it tows big cattle trailers across fields up hill and down dale , i think the only clean bit on the car is where the windscreen wipers clear ,his clutch has just gone at about 120,000 miles right at the...

as i said normal driving its absolutely no probs cant tell, its as if it only does it with the throttle held in one position as if its getting confused .

mine does this aswell its done it for the last 3 years and if you hold it at 2000rpm in neutral it smokes bad , but nothing with normal driving ,so i dont hold it at 2000 rpm ,just drive it ,enjoy it ,mine goes like a train and regularly tows 1500kgs with no probs , seems a lot of td4 s do this

pretty sure td4 is a dual mass , unless its been converted to a solid flywheel at sometime when the clutch has been changed, as regards to heavy clutch mine is quite heavy in fact every manual land rover i;ve owned the clutch has been quite heavy .
