    Upgrade Hazard Switch - Defender.

I make an adaptor harness to replace either the early Defender or TD5/Puma Defender hazard switch with a D2 hazard switch. It uses 3 x relays to replicate the functionality of the Defender's hazard switch - I can also supply a modified D2 switch with an extra LED, so that it flashes with the...

    TD5 Rear Reverse Lights Wiring

In the above diagram, the switch's tell tale light will be on all the time, as it's being fed by an ignition-switched live. I replied to your post on LR4X4 - https://forums.lr4x4.com/topic/15989-wiring-up-rear-worklight/?do=findComment&comment=963515 .

    Defender td5 extended clock wiring

Yes, I make an extension cable for the TD5 clock. It has a male connector at one end, and a female connector at the other end. The wire colours match the vehicle's harness, and it is sleeved along its length. PM me for more details.

Mudstuff, who are also selling these switches, also had the wrong wiring diagram for them. I contacted them, and they now show the correct diagram, here - https://www.mudstuff.co.uk/products/electrical/tdci-td5-switches/genuine-style-tdci-td5-switch-spotlight.html Another option, is to use...

    wiring of roof spots

The diagram you've pictured is for a Puma heated seat switch, which is a live-switching switch. Bearmach have taken the diagrams that I drew and posted on various forums, and used them as their wiring instructions for these switches. However, I've drawn diagrams for more than one type of...

It's an earth-switching switch. Google for YUG000540LNF wiring. The switch has to be used to switch the earth side of a relay's coil. .

    Heater controls illuminated?

Only the TD5 (1999 - 2006) instrument pack has illuminated heater controls.

    Heated seats question

TDCI seats will plug straight in to a TD5 Defender. The connectors on the seats and seatbox are the same on both TD5 and TDCi Defenders. The dash switches on the TDCi are different, but are wired exactly the same as the TD5 switches.

puting in a center td5 dash into a tdi

Hi Tom, The Black/Red from pin-1 on the old connector, loops round to a 4.8mm spade on the side of the old switch, which is for the flashing indicator in the switch. There's another 4.8mm spade on the other side of the switch, for the indicator's earth (which should also be in your Autosparks...

    Stereo connections

Yes, I still make these. The harness is £10.00 + £3.75 for UK 1st class small parcel P&P. The harness has ISO connector terminals at the dash end, and a Sumitomo HW 4-way female connector (to mate with C0379) at the engine bay end.

The rear speakers are wired from the chassis harness connector (C0393 (90) C1762 (110)) to terminals (C0308 to C0311) behind the rear lamp covers. But, there's no wiring from the head unit's speaker ISO connector (C0092) to the main harness connector (C0379)* which connects to the chassis...
