Anyone wired up one of these spot switches from Bearmarch on a 2.2 TDCI and not got the small orange light to illuminate when on? I have wired mine exactly like the above and the image light illuminates when lights are on. Press the switch to on and the illumination goes off and no orange light illuminates...any ideas guys as it is driving me nuts

It's an earth-switching switch.
Google for YUG000540LNF wiring.
The switch has to be used to switch the earth side of a relay's coil.

The diagram you've pictured is for a Puma heated seat switch, which is a live-switching switch.
Bearmach have taken the diagrams that I drew and posted on various forums, and used them as their wiring instructions for these switches.
However, I've drawn diagrams for more than one type of switch - and, as they obviously have little or no understanding of their product, they've included the diagram for the wrong type of switch.
I don't mind that they've pinched my diagram, as I did post it for all to use - but, they could at least provide the correct one.

Mudstuff, who are also selling these switches, also had the wrong wiring diagram for them.
I contacted them, and they now show the correct diagram, here -

Another option, is to use the Genuine Defender Puma heated seat switch YUF500150LNF, with one of the Bearmach switch covers fitted to it.
