    Range

An easy find I’d say, well done. I think they were thrown by the bush still being attached. A new wishbone may be required also? Tricky :)

Other How's your Heart.... and other Ailments

You have my good wishes for a speedy and successful treatment. I’ve many ailments that restrict almost everything I do and was able to fight off bladder tumours several years ago. To be honest I use my Range as occupational therapy. Tricky

Nice to see the L322’s there too, couldn’t make the show this year but will make an effort next time. Tricky :)

Unfortunately, these watches were originally penned under BMW management not Audi. That may stir a reaction! Sorry but I’ve own several Audi’s, all superb machines. Tricky :)

    Usual abs hdc suspension fault

Sorry, forgot to say the fan sound behind the battery should be the fuse box cooling fan that runs on after turning of ignition. Also have you done a correctly staged turn off ignition and battery disconnection as this could help reset the various electronic systems. Worked for me on a few...

    Usual abs hdc suspension fault

Hi, is this a new acquisition? If so have you checked your battery condition and cleared any historical faults before changing parts? I’m on my second L322 and have had many duff faults pop into the display of both, usually after a period on non-use, that end up as nothing when checked out. Also...

    L322 Suspension Mis-Hap

Same - the problem is that it’s assembled without grease so the seizure goes all the way through to the bolt head. Nightmare but it will give eventually, just when is the big question. Seriously try the freeze/release spray it can’t make it any worse. Tricky

If you do try the freeze products then you’ll probably need to empty a few cans on it. Then wait about ten minutes before trying to turn it. Fingers crossed but when mine eventually came free they were still resisting to the end.

Mine were the same. Heat if you can. If not loads of penetrating fluid and a lump hammer. There are freeze and penetrating sprays that can work well in some applications if your still struggling. Good luck. Tricky :)

P38A How does water get here then?

That’s why all the advice about using talcum power to track the water. It is very possible that it’s coming from the bolt locations under the folds of the metal plate. That’s exactly the terrain in the L322 boot that I found the water path. Perhaps someone knows how that section of body is...

    DIY windscreen chip repair

It looks like these kits use a UV light curing resin that is glass clear when fully cured. If you’re lucky it may clear up nicely in a few days outdoors even if cloudy, alternatively under a fluorescent light. Fingers crossed. Tricky :)

Sometimes drastic action is required, it would probably have taken years to dry out if ever, good call. Tricky.:)

    P38A Height sensor

Not a surprise to be fair. I’m fast coming to the belief that many automotive issues are caused or associated with the stupidly complexed wiring looms. It took me two days to sort the fan motor control on the family Citroen, what a mess. Tricky

Hi just found this thread, advice seems to be don’t take it apart if you can’t seal it up again. https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/p38-eas-rises-automatically.150658/ Good luck, Tricky:)

P38A How does water get here then?

If it’s any consolation, I have to wrap a towel around the spare wheel in the boot of my L322 to stop the water slopping around. One day I will get the bumper off to re-seal the mounting plates. Then wait for another water run to open up. Tricky
