Thanks guys turned out amazingly. Used plasticote black primer then satin black. About 4 thin coats did the job and looks a thousand times better than the grey. Now for the seats... Saw some vinyl spray paint in b&q. Says its suitable for car seats, and contains real vinyl. Anyone used this stuff?

Anyone? Will nip and swap them first thing. Satin or hammered black?

I got some of that rustilium ultimate in hammered black. Think I may have been seduced by the fancy can, and the thought that it must be good at 12 quid a can. What you guys think? Hammered or change it for the satin?

Does anyone know what type of paint would be best to use to paint my door cards on my defender. They are off at the moment and while they are off I thought I could change the gray to a nice black to match the dash. I'm guessing some sort of plastic paint but I don't want it to be peeling off...

I wouldn't want hydrogen gas in the cab. I hear hydrogen takes a spark quite well...
