As anyone considered that some ducking bankers that keep taking all the LR's visit this site?
We are proud to tell of the modifications we have done and hence highlighting the value of our vehicles. I'm sure even if you don't advertise your location it may not be too difficult to work out from people we associate with?
Not all will be like this, i've herd of LR's being spotted on the roads then being followed home and taken later.
Real said **** state things are in!!!
I would say, put all planned mod's on hold until you have upped your security and spend your money there. Proximity alarms give you a little earlier warning if some one is just looking through your window, gives you chance to switch the bedroom light on and catch the tvvats in action! I don't think trackers are worth the money. I have two on my merc (one was installed prior to me buying it and i didn't realise) So i just activated both of them. My car went for repair once on the back of a truck and it took the tracker company 15 minutes to ring me to tell me the car was being moved without the keys in it. You can get it in the back of a container in 5 minutes!
Also a flood light on a PIR pointed at your truck would help.
I haven't bought an LR yet but last night i bought a wheel clamp ready, and found a Clifford G5 installer.
You can get stuff now with remote engine shut off and all sorts of stuff.
Anyone thought about a snap-on steering wheel? Park up with your wheels on full lock then take the steering wheel off. At least if you make it impossible for them to drive away, i'd have thought you would have better chance hearing a truck dragging it down the drive?
Protect your trucks before you loose them. I know if someone want's it badly enough they will have it, but make it difficult for them!
