Light switch problem - Have I fixed it?

Thanks Mundungus, I reckon your right about replacing the whole lot with insulated connectors. Sounds like a good idea to me. Cheers, Jud

Light switch problem - Have I fixed it?

Hi all, Got a 1997 110 CSW and recently the lights have been a bit dodgy. Sometimes they work and other times they're totally dead. Did a bit of research on here and thought I'd start with the easy stuff first, so just changed the switch on the steering column. But, I noticed the connector...

    Replacement chassis has no number

gidgrace, Can't help with the question(but contacting Swansea sounds like the best plan), but mine was at Challenger just before Xmas and I saw a 90 in matt green that had just been put on a galv chassis. Was that yours? It looked bloody nice. :-) Jud

What did you get for christmas?

I got a cubby box and a t-shirt with 'And on the 8th day, God made Land Rover' on it. Plus a few movies and CDs and little things.

    Off Road Novice - training?

I'd be up for a noobs run in the Basingstoke area too. Sounds like I'm in the same situation as Kevin - had my 110 a few months but haven't had an opportunity to do anything proper with it. Which is a waste of a great vehicle. Oh, and pub lunch sounds good too. :)

Laning around Basingstoke for a 1st timer

Yeah, that kind of thing would do the job. Looks like great fun, got another one planned any time soon? Me...in a pub...drinking beer? I could be tempted. I had intended to make the last one, but I got stuck working and couldn't make it back in time. I think you're onto something there...

Laning around Basingstoke for a 1st timer

Hello all, After a few months of LR ownership and fixing a few problems, I think I'm finally ready to venture off the tarmac. Is there anyone in the Basingstoke area doing a spot of laning some time soon, who wouldn't mind a 1st timer tagging along? If beer works as a bribe for putting...

    Blasphemy?

I just use mine for camping, so it doesn't really see any off-road action(this may well change in the future though). Just get one!! You'll love it, I promise. :D

How fast does your landy go...

Got a '96 110 300TDI with 250k (miles, not MPH;)) on the clock and it'll do 70 down the motorway no probs, although I tend to sit at 65 and let the world hurry past. :)

CSW rear door check - guess the missing parts pic

Cheers Buster, but mine's different to that one too. I'm not sure exactly how/why, but it definitely is. I guess I'm stuck with the door smacking into me, unless I only ever park facing uphill. ;)

CSW rear door check - guess the missing parts pic

Mine's different to that. I don't have the plate on the door with the two grooves to hold the roller/spring thing or the cut-out where the roller holds the check strap in place. Your pics show the parts that my local Landy dealer came up with, but they agreed they wouldn't fit my rear door. I...
