I know a m8 who has recently put in a 200 tdi disci engine, which plops straight in. Loads of power. Bit too much power through the half shafts and diffs. So they did need changing. But it really does improve the old girls loads. :D

We have a camper van, which has a brilliant little heater on it. Running some 1/2" pipe from engine . Very useful when going surfing in the winter. We bought it with the camper. But i think it's pretty standard in panel van type campers. Goto the scrap yard and pick 1. There pretty robust...

Is there a way of having door mounted mirrors but keeping the series2a hinges on. Coz for me the hinges a key icon that makes a series2a. and don't really wanna take that away. I have wing mounted ones. But it's not the same :( cheers tom

I have a wee issue here. I bought a chassis off ebay. Which was an abandoned project. But he wanted to put a v6 in there. Now i didn't realise this until recently put he has cut off the engine mounting to fit it in. Now does anyone know the angle which the engine mounting has to be attached...

I'm referring to the latest LRM mag [oct/2010]. Although it isn't stated. i can tell you series2/2a 109" is around £2000-£4000. And a LWB station wagon is around £1500 - £5000. As this is a rare landy to come by, i would of thought it would add a fair premium. But i'm not sure. It may not...

I was looking at the series 2a diagram last night and none of the connections to ground are connected via wires back to the battery. only to the chassis or vis versa. [in the manual it does show some are.] Is this mistake?? ... think it is the same on the series 3 circuit diagram too.

I have a couple wiring diagrams from the net for it. But all of them have no drawings for the indicators circuit. :( I don't own a Haynes manual for my landy, but i am told the wiring diagram in them are pretty gd. Not seen one though :( ... I'm a bit short on cash atm, so b4 i go and buy...

paddocks are doing a fair gd offer on a sound proofing kit for the bulkhead at £65 atm. i'm about to get, so not sure how it performs. Also famous four does a more expensive, which i think does the whole interior.
