+1 I **** myself when this happened to me then realised this was why. A quick blast of with the pressure washer and all was good. Do it as soon as you can as the vibrations won't be good for the rest of the car.

I'm going to be doing the swap next year at some point mate but from what I've read there doesn't seem to be anywhere I've seen that would do this. Not read the haynes manual though, however I don't think I'll be doing it. Every gearbox I've ever taken off has never had any sealant around it...
