    there about £15 online an bolt to the sill, i vaguely remember seeing landrovers with them as a kid, plus side is if i go off road its 2 bolts to remove them to avoid them betting flattened

    Mine starts first time no choke, only needs choke when it's very cold , 2.25 petrol no electronic ignition. I know this isn't helping anyone solve starting issues, just wanted to boast about it

    Check the breather ppipe, filler pipe and the gaskets on the fuel pipe and sender , they're right under your seat so fumes probably coming from there

    yesterday I took the hood and sticks off folded the screen down, went for a nice drive along the seafront in the sun, today Im putting it all back on cos its sodding rainy again and i need to use it, this year the hoods been on and off more than a whores drawers -when is the summer coming!!!!

    no steady posts on mine its a swb 1974 series 3, might try taking them off and see if anything looks like its scraping, hard braking no noise but gentle braking its quite annoying.
