I'd like another 200 really but not too sure on the difference between the 200 and 300 other than looks? I always thought the 200 was more simple and the better off road choice, but please correct me if I'm wrong! All the newish bits I've put on I'll take off but any other bits can go with it...

New gearbox, new sills both sides, boot floor and both side bits of the floor, wheel arch, both inside wings and light boxes, suspension I think needs replacing, some of the brake calipers need renewing, front bumper, headlight, indicator, wing( courtesy of some prick hitting me head on) and a...

Mot has expired. I realize breaking it will take more time and I wasn't really blessed with too much patience, but if it's going to get more more money then maybe I'll have to try and learn some patience!! The disco is in Hereford.

For 6 months now I've been planning on completely stripping all the rusty bits off my 200tdi disco and rebuilding it. Now I've run in to a few issues which is making me think I'll be better off scrapping it and starting again with another disco that doesn't need as much work done or at least has...

Thanks all, I think I'll opt for the M&M 4x4 sills more than likely. I'm really dreading doing them as it'll be my first ever time welding for real, but enough people have done it and succeeded so I'm sure I'll be fine.

Yeah they are pretty bad and as I'm not into anything too extreme I'd rater try and keep it pretty standard. I always rather things be repaired to how they started their life!

Thank you sir! It was the body panels info I was after, and as I saw someone had posted rave pics in another thread on how to dismantle the disco 1 rear 1/4 panels so I thought they must have covered the disco 1 in the manuals. :confused:

I downloaded the Rave last night and I've scrolled through every file on there tonight but cannot find anything on the Discovery 1. I can find every other vehicle except the one I want! Any ideas?

I'm in need of complete sills for both sides of my Disco 1 and I've noticed the YRM sills are almost half the price of sills from anywhere else. They look a bit more flimsy than other places but is that just looks? I'm after anyone who has experience with either YRM sills or the more expensive...

Good work, I'm really enjoying this thread, as I did Mr Noisy and Green Hornets! Mines been in a half stripped state for months now and I've been unable to make a start. The MOT expires end of September so I'll try to get stuck in then. Oh and I need to try and source somewhere to do it too...
