Well, I have stipped out the whole rear interior as welding up the back end, and I have a stange water leak - not the usual sunroof or alpine windows (I think..)

I did post the thread a while ago here..

But since I didn't strip out anymore never solved the problem

As you can see from these pics, its coming in from the corner where I have circled. Also the arrow shows the level so the water is running along from the back to the front - as you can see its been doing it for a while.

Nothing seems wrong with the gutter rails, and can't see anywhere else the water can come in from to get here

Is it a case of just whacking a load of sealer under the gutter rail and around the outside of the joins of the corner panels?? I have looked under the gutter rail where it joins and can't see any water...but that dont mean jack sh1t at present.....

What is behind there - can I just cut it off to see then weld back on or is it structual to the disco?

Sorry I cant be of any help to you but mine leaks in exactly the same place so I'm keen to hear peoples suggestions. Also what is the rectangle channel piece where you have the arrow?

I would strip out the sealer circled in your photo, it's obviously there for a reason and its integrity may have diminished.

I get leaks like that in mine.. I am gonna paint the outside to hopefully sort the problem.

Is that a good place to have speakers where you got them..? I need some more speakers in my wagon and was wondering where to put them.. Is the sound good from them there..?

Well I duct taped around the gutter rail to stop any water getting to the underside since its been raining, and that never worked, so going to check out the sealer that I have circled, as the sunroof drains go down the outside so guessing that is where something else is draining, but its coming through the sealer.

As for the speakers, yes they work well there, just a bit of cutting was needed to make them fit, nothing major.

It wont be the sealer inside, water has to be stopped getting in and you can't do that internally.

There are some leak points above the rear door, basically all road the damn gutter and under it, check for pinholes too.

Have just duct taped up the whole corner around the gutter rail to see if that stops the leak, and if so, will apply huge amounts of sealer :D

Well i have now seam sealed all around the rear corner of the gutter rail, in particular the 2 joins under the little covers and still the water is getting in.....

Anymore ideas where to seal?? Just a shame i cant see behind that panel to see exactly where it is coming in from

It's not in any way leaking in through the alpine window, into the box section, running along the inside of the box then out in the corner through the sealant?

A long shot i know... but...
