    Vinscreen Vipers

I believe it is, though when mine was playing up, I started dismantling the dash poked around a bit, couldn't be arsed to carry on as it was getting dark, and not only did me wipers start working again, but miracle of miracles, me heater was blowing warm air

    Front Shocks...

110 and 130 rears will not fit a 90. As trewy said, but I prefer the better shockers, but then I offroad my 90. Go standard height and standard spring rates.

    Vinscreen Vipers

Sounds like some dodgy wiring on the park circuit - probably on the microswitch in the wiper park position. Or it could be a goosed indicator switch on the stalk, but unlikely.
  4. Take5

    Front Shocks...

Go for the standard rate OEM springs for a 90 unless you want to change the rears as well. Best shockers are the Bilstein ones, but can be a bit pricey, save a few quid and get DeCarbons  or be cheap skate and get ProComps. You could go for Old Man Emu's if you won the lottery last night...

    1998 P38 4.0 Overheating...

I would say it needs a thorough flush, and someone has mixed OAT anti-freeze with standard Ethylene Glycol stuff. It could also be a radiator blockage - remove it and give it a right good flush as well.

    p38 idle prob

If you put your location in your profile someone on here can recommend a local independant specialist who will trace the problem for about a quarter of the cost of a main stealer. If the ECU itself is gubbed, get a replacement Optimax one from RPi Engineering - "RPi Engineering - Specialised...

if your looking for cars check the for sale section

When put like that, yeah, yer right ;)

if your looking for cars check the for sale section

Fook me, I missed all the fun again. Bleedin work getting in the way. Ere, Pikey, Johnsons in Leeds sell a load of those cases for next to nowt - they also got a couple of Challenger I tanks, but for export only ;)

    paddocks are great

I just ordered 2 new rear disks, pads, full set of wheel bearings and seals and they arrived next day. OK, I ordered AP/Lockheed disks and pads and got Mintex pads and Delphi disks, but they're infinitely better than ****part, and local Andrew Pages sell them at more than the AP/Lockheed jobs...

    Which Engine???

Did 95 in me V8 hybrid down the M42 once. Had dodgy steering damper - more frightening than doing 140 down the Autobahn in me Escort GTi...
  11. Take5

    Brake upgrade....

Aye, I've just bought a full set of AP Lockheed disks and pads for front and rear of me RRC, and a full set of OEM Timken hub bearings, seals, gaskets etc etc for less than 200 nicker. Was going to spend this weekend fitting them as me Doris is working this weekend, but it's gonna hoon it down...

re: clonk when taking up drive update

An absolute ****t unless you have ramps, engine hoist and at least one other pair of hands. Strip it down and lubricate the transfer lever mechanism and check play and end float in the shafts/bearings, or go and see Allan at Legs, pay him 600 nicker and he'll fit a recon one in and take yer old...

Going rate for shot 300 tdi engine

Don't tell me mate, he's on his second since Christmas (water in his tank - twice!!!)
  14. Take5

    Which Engine???

For 6 grand you can get a very tidy 300TDi AND buy lift kit, rock/tree sliders, steering guard, sump guards etc ;)

Going rate for shot 300 tdi engine

Injection pump alone is worth £250 providing it works and it's a later type with the uprated header springs (usually have connector multiplug that you just blank off).

    Driving in France

Actually, the law states that you need either a warning triangle OR a number of special Hi-Vis mini traffic cones which you can only get in France specifically for breakdowns/accidents.

    lopsided 94 vogue

Sounds like you need your bags replacing as they've become worn/perished.
  18. Take5

    Fibreglass tailgate??

I got an Ally one from Paddocks which won't rust. Bit of a faff to fit and I snapped me 2 best pilot drills attaching the ally trim to it. Not that cheap, but they had a web special deal for £180 - see if they still have it.

RPi Optimax - £300 and much better performance. "RPi Engineering - Specialised Rover Engines"

    Black Smoke and UJ Problems

Only fit Hardy Spicer UJ's (or GKN/Dana Spicer in some parts of the world). I would go for a complete front prop - only about £37. Check the UJ's regularly and grease them every couple of months/few thousand miles.
