Ha, that was going to be my next question 'boguing', I can see where there was some welding done on mine so it looks as if both were shortened. Just roughly fitting it the pivot was in under the seatbox.....

So I went ahead and got myself an Overdrive. Bearing in mind that this is a long term project, and there is no engine fitted at the moment, can anybody help with the dimensions from the back of the Transfer box to the centreline of the Pivot bolt. I suspect that mine is an 'Aftermarket' job and...

Whereabouts are you moving to Tam? You can get Classic insurance but only on a second policy, you must have a 'primary' vehicle insured too. I think most of the companies impose a mileage limit too, in the region of 5,000ish.....
