I've come to the conclusion that the Lynx will definitely NOT sync the ECM & BeCM. I've been through the system and instructions, reading every word twice. I've bit the bullet and bought a syncmate. Hopefully that will arrive Tuesday. I have no Disable message on the dash, My key works via RF...

Haha It's cracking me up. When I'm at either code - I press "advanced" and it just says LOCKED.

Nobody's got a sync mate locally. Looks like i'll have to buy one. I'll also be on the phone to Omitec on Monday.

I've tried, but when i try to go into the "advanced settings" it's coming up as locked :( will the Syncmate work around this and re code? really appreciate your help by the way!

my EDC code is not matching the EDC/motronic code. I cannot change the code as it's locked. Will a syncmate do this or do i need an unlocked Bemc?

Nothing on the screen. Just the usual "windows not set" the doors will unlock via the RF key

code 27 Anti-Theft-System

The car hadn't been used in a while and the battery went dead. The keys are unlocking the car and turning it over, no fuel from injection pump. I'm gonna call Omnitec next week cos I paid for the software and it wont even do the most common issue with the P38!!!

LOL, Not too deep but would pay to get the job done. It would've been nice to have it up & running for work on Monday.

Hi guys. fault 27 is engine disabled. The Lynx will do everything needed but cannot resync Becm to Ecu. (unless i'm missing something)

Hi guys. Has anybody got a syncmate a could use for my 2.5 td P38? I've plugged my Lynx in but it wont re sync it, i'm just getting fault code 27. Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah the 15p comes with steel dowels.

Yeah ECU is vehicle specific. There's an option on my Lynx diagnostic to "to add new ECU"
