1, yes... fitted to the bonnet shoult be some commpressed card/material stuff.. old rover doozil is a tad noisey anyway. td4 lot quieter and has a plastic cover over engine. 2, heater should be very good. mine warms up quicker than that. may need bleeding through. 3, if they grey not a lot...

i like my auto too.. had three 3dr, a petrol:eek: and two TD4's.... no real problems, only back door seal on all three and the one i got now (51reg td4 GS auto) is the best so far. try and get the best warranty deal available for total piece of mind and you cant go wrong wi a freelander...

pour a kettle of boiling water over hub the tap wi rubber mallet! works everytime:D

look in yella pages for auto electricians or locksmiths and they may help. we use a guy up the wirral for our keys normally half the price of a stealer!

got it fixed... apparently its 2005 on seal kit.

exactly what mine did! all three freelanders i've had have all had the same problem, even a 53reg serengetti!!

mine had water comming into the boot where the hard back meets the body and it was the door seal that had failed, should be done under warranty, there is an updated part number refering to the seal which is better. insist on that fitted!

definatly a TD4 and looked like it had burst the turbo pipe.
