I've fixed the problem by running a new live to the holder. There is corrosion in the holder but there was no voltage either. It works now but only just so I'll be getting a new holder tomorrow.

You take the lock out from inside, moving away from the hinge. and it leaves behind the bit that's riveted to the door.

And it isn't sending 25% to each wheel either. It is sending 50% to the front and 50% to the rear. How it is then distributed to each wheel is dependant on traction. If a wheel looses traction it will then gain all of the power unless you have traction control.

Copper is cheap and easy to work with. No need for carbon-fibre-ceramic-glass-asbestos brake pipes of whatever stupid thing they will come up with next to make you pay double for the same product.

I can change to 5th at about 40 and get to 90.

If you can only hit 60, I'd say there's something up. Mine will hit 90 no problem but I wouldn't keep it at that speed. 60-70 is what you'll have to settle for. Faster than that they are so unstable it's literally dangerous and the fuel consumption makes you want to cry.

I've had 90 out of my 200 with standard box. It would have gone faster if I'd dared. Bigger wheels help.

I agree with you there. If you buy 4 cheap 13000lb winches and break one a year, you're still better off than a warn. Mate of mine payed £60 for a 12000lb winch 5 years ago and it was used then. It's still going strong after towing full skips across the grass with no wheels on amongst other things.

It still amazes me that the linkage that engages diff lock is basically a paperclip straightened out. I'd have put money on it breaking.

I think it looks ace but has no real purpose. You'd have to run a tube from it inside then through the wheel arch to keep water out. I wouldn't want all that weight up heigh off road to be honest. Why don't you sink it into the back door? Now that WOULD look tops.

Nato paint is a pain and takes weeks to harden. Last time I painted mine I went to do some work on it and lent on the bonnet then took a huge chuck of paint of. I was gutted. If you take one bit of advice I say look after it for a couple of weeks before getting it muddy or scratched or the paint...

To get my great grandma into the disco 3 we have to lower it to access height where it basically scrapes the floor and then we have a small folding step like a caravan step. :D

One of mine got ripped off off road and then I took the other off. Utterly pointless, don't bother with them. Learn to jump higher or wear platforms.

Mine spits a full sized cloud out when I start it whether hot or cold. Only one puff though and after that i have to floor if to get any smoke.
