Guys I’m looking at installing an amp and subwoofer in my 110 to supplement and improve the sound of my current system which is a Kenwood DNX8180DABS. This system is an all singing and dancing unit with DAB, iPod/MP3,SatNav,CD,camera etc etc and I’m more than happy with its capabilities other...

New front HD half shafts and cv’s courtesy of Ashcroft Engineering fitted today. :) The old ones are disappointingly in good condition so might look at flogging them. :rolleyes:

I’ve got Vision X Vortex lights. Brilliant and well worth the expense.

No idea, I’m not a mechanic I’m afraid. That’s what I was told was the cause of my noise.

The Vision X headlights were £540 the pair. The WIPAC LED’s were £140. That includes side/rear, rear fog, side repeaters and brake lights. All supplied by TMD Tuning.

I’ve got WIPAC LED’s all round and Vision X LED headlights. Got to be one of the best mods I’ve done. The headlights are brilliant albeit expensive and the sidelights, indicators, rear lights and rear fog are much brighter. See and be seen. :)

I had a similar issue a few years back and turned out to be a stone wedged where the handbrake meets rear wheels. Sorry but can’t be any more helpful

Appreciate you say it’s audible at lower speeds but when travelling faster is it still there?

Hi Squill and welcome. I’m no technophobe so am not going to advise which (if any) wire (s) to cut! What I’d ask is: Where did you buy the LR from? A pucker LR dealer, an independent or private? Might be worth going back to them for advice. Have you googled the make of radio you have? Might find...

I’ve a Kenwood DNX8180DABS in mine. It’s a double din. Had to get a new purpose built fascia panel for it as switches had to be moved. V. expensive! (Fascia panel that is). Mine is a MY2012 truck so don’t know how that would equate to the Td5.

Been telephoned today by a local LR independent and asked if I’d display my truck at a car fest in Westbury, Wiltshire tomorrow. Nice to be asked :) Rude to say no. :D

I think if you go branded you won’t be disappointed. I can’t say they are all the same because I genuinely don’t know but I’d have thought there won’t be much difference (other than price!). As I said above I’ve got the Vortex and can’t fault them. Let us know how you get on.

In preparation for a jaunt up to Skye gave all the glass on the 110 a good clean and liberal dose of some RainX. My thinking is that with the glass so shines the midges will slide straight off :rolleyes:

I’d go for it regardless of it being in the higher band. I reckon if you’re thinking that in the future you are going to get caned even more then that is just as likely to happen to us all regardless of which tax bracket you are in. Live for the moment and as it’s for your good lady get her to...
