the landy just stoped and wouldnt start !! my m8s a diesel fitter n he came rnd to have a look and was just as baffled !! we tried turning it over by hand to try n get it on cam but nothing happend i took it off and pumped it fuel came out so we put it back on and tried to prime it but again...

thanks big ad have tried what u said turned it over and by hand !! but nothing its wierd cus when i took it off it worked n pumped fuel everywhere put it back on n nothing or just get a new 1 ????

hi me land rover stoped yesterday and wont start !! i believe it to b the mechanical pump ?? ive undone the glow plug tops and tried to prime the lever but no fuel comes out !! so i took of the pump and now it pumps with with the primer whilst not attached, ie fuel comes out of the filter any...

hi thanks for the tip on using old race to beat in new 1 !! worked a treat only :D now after changing the discs n pads 1 of the calipers has seized up :doh: !! the joys of owning a land rover :rolleyes:

hi ive stripped down the back hubs n noticed that the rear n/s copper pipe is well kinked !! where can i get a new 1 ?? (just looked on paddocks) or do i have to make it meself :confused: cheers del

after phoning ajd in hoddesdon n getting the shock of my life !! its a land rover not a rolls royce !! decided to hav a go meself today so far so good !! just need to get the discs of the hub !! any ideas ?? now for a big tub of grease n hopefully will go back together just as easy :D:D

many thanks jason2, its not leakin too bad but will check out bearings aswell. mrjc ive got plenty of tools hav been working on minis and vws for years !! land rover parts are just bigger n dirtyer lol. will try n up load sum pics as i do it. again thanks for help

hi i seem to have a transmission leak on the rear wheels !! could it be the hub seals ??? and how easy are they to replace ??
