I’ll check with the shop that fitted the unit where they come from. That Alpine’s a nice looking unit. Can you change the display colour?

Show us a pic of the shinny new thing! Here’s my new fit, integrated with steering wheel controls but not CD changer which isn’t an issue as I stream music. It’s DAB which I’ll have to get my head around...... god knows, or someone on here might, how to find your favourite stations!

On the theme show us your Range Rover here’s the Jap import, 98, 4.6 HSE and the 95, 4.0 SE. I’ll get a side by side when I get them somewhere with more room. I need to get the Jap out for a good shake down run this afternoon as I’ve only run it a few miles.

    Correct year number plate

It will cost you £80 but I’d put B the plate on retention then DLVA would issue an age related plate. Or you could buy an X prefix though this would cost The £80 plus the price of the plate. I’d go for the first option.

I’m going to give it to my local LR specialist for once over. My thoughts exactly on the coolant level. I’ve topped up and will keep an eye on it and the temp gauge. It was the same level in the advertising pics, you’d think if they wanted to cover up it used coolant they’d have topped it up?

Cheers M. I’d figured in to the price the cost to do the oh ****s you always see with a new/old vehicle and the place that supplied it has offered to supply the parts required and I only contacted them this evening. So far good after sales service but until the fat lady sings........ I’ll get...
