I'm looking at importing a 200TDi Disco, but have had almost an impossible task of trying to find a 1990 or 1991 model. Is there a better place to look other than gumtree, or Ebay? Does someone here have one they know of by chance? Thanks

I'm located in the U.S. and looking at purchasing a Disco 5 mins from Gatwick. If anyone is near, and can check out a Disco for me, that would be much appreciated.

Yeah you might be right. I would go either way, but obviously purchasing a whole vehicle would be easier and probably end up costing me the same at this point.

Are disco are very cramped. If you're over 5' 10" it's a tricky fit. The space for your knee are terrible and same with height for your head. The range classics provide more space here.

People want crazy money for all the parts here, that is why I decide I would just try and source everything myself... I didn't realize that Defenders were so cheap, so it might be in my best interest to just purchase one and use that this season.

I have a bunch of vehicles. I own a business, and this is the kinda stuff I like to do in my spare time. Tinker with vehicles, and take some time to travel and explore with my girlfriend.

My disco was mainly used for traveling across the us, and on a lot of back roads, Sand dunes, etc. The defender would be used for the same thing, just traveling and spending time off paved roads for camping.

No I will just import a whole defender and replace my disco with it. I will decide at a later date what I want to do with the disco
