i thought if you are running on lpg you can decat your car and still pass the MOT, Not sure about the ECU though

well we finally got snow today in south Devon just when i didn't want it. Removed my front propshaft last night as one of the UJ's failed badly and i need the car so it has left me with 2 wheel drive, and its bloody useless. Damn shame as i wanted to go playing in it, Oh well i'll have it...

just to update you if it helps, i found my problem to be one of the uj joints on the front propshaft

I would fix mine but i just cant get my laptop to talk to the car. I dont know what else to do

Air bags Left rear pin 11 Right rear pin 28 Left front pin 10 Right front pin 27 in turn you have to link pin 9 to go up and pin 26 to go down Pin 8 runs compressor And if you link pin 7 to 18 it gets rid of fault on the dash Good luck

are you linking the connections on the EAS ECU plug or have you gone straight to the solinoids?

i also have the same problem, thought it was coming from my front diff, but after a little searching around looks like its more than likely to be uj joints on the propshaft. Good luck

also check operation of gearbox, all modes and see if it selects hi and low ratios ok

ok thanks for that. Just looked on ebay and cant find a diff or axle under £200 :frusty:

i'm pretty sure classic is the other side to the p38, just wondered if the diff internals are the same?

Ideal hopefully will get it on me mates ramp tomorrow and have a proper look inside the diff and check the half shafts. Need to find a local one on ebay really as its a lumpy bit of kit to post. Do the axles and diffs differ from the classic?

on further investigation today the noises are coming from the front diff. Thats gonna be expensive!!!

sounds like your o rings then, I have the same problem at the moment, along with all the other problems
