Still having this issue, car lifts & drops great 3 or 4 times then as above (though it eventually rises at somestage of driving ) I do a lot of shortish stop/start trips in the day & maybe i'm asking too much for it to operate perfectly all the time??

They do come up on e-bay from time to time & are expensive, but dealer price is outrageous! I opted for the "sports bars" which are cross bars that use the roof fix points & can be moved around between the three positions available (so that you don't have to have one over the sunroof opening)...

This disable relay, is it the tall black one & if faulty what would the symptoms be? After sucessfully repairing the compressor seal over a wek ago great till today when it won't do SFA but blink on the rocker switch at standard level without moving, light at access level constant

That's impressive, where did you get it? I fancy one as my superchip gives nothing near those figures & am thinking of changing. The car is great but the consumption is harrowing!!Any advice gratefully received.

Thanks for that, is interesting reading I don't have cold or hot starting probs. fires first crank every time but I do have tickover at 850 & lately, poor consumption & off colour performance . Will get someone brighter than me to look into it but as car has a Superchip fitted could throw...

I'd like to know too as my running issues may be tied in with the old type single relay/resistor. Some of the characteristics/symptoms mentioned above by eightinavee & daveB284 sound familiar. Where would I look to see if this "old type" is fitted?

Threads a tad duplicated but just for closure I did get the repair kit, teflon seal , off e-bay & all for now is well again. Instructions that came with the kit were helpful but a "HOW TO..." on this repair for this section from an experienced diy'er who can upload the pics would be valuable...
