I didn't bother trying to find anything at the back, i ran a length of rubberised 240V cable through the car from a garden pond pump of all things, i connected all three wires to the battery via 3 fuses and then used an inteligent relay to power the 12s socket. i found a big cable grommet below...

I see from searching the forum that a fair few have changed the rear door seal, i think i have all the trims i need and the new seal, from what i can see on line i should be removing a small amount of metal from the car before i put the new seal on, does anyone have any info on this as the...

I know there's a pounding coming for the freelander but it's just nice to have a green oval on the drive again, even if it is for poofs.

Thought i better say hello as i have been hiding on the sidelines for a while, I had a Disco 1 V8 years ago but couldn't handle the fuel bills this time round so have only managed to get a TD4 Freelander. (tin hat on and ready for the incoming). :)

I get a vibration/rattle from mine just as i pull away at very low revs, i have found that the bolts are missing at the back of the sump guard under the engine, i just cant be bothered to get under the car and replace them to stop the noise.

Copper grease on the back of the pads and on the calliper carrier slides, at the rear i guess the shoes sit on three small raised parts on the backplate, a small smear of copper grease on there too should cure it. Some people fit new brakes dry and this can cause the noise.

That looks good, i'm thinking of fitting one to get to the roof box, picking the car up this week.
