Hi guys posted a thread last week about eas problem on p38 2001 kept blowing fuse sorted this turned out to be eas pump fitted 2nd hand unit all fine till i have just been out on 20 mile trip parked up came back started up and light for suspension just flased and would not raise pump not running...

Datatek do you think it is worth stripping and is it easy. andy

car is a 2001 and is 40amp, have just unpluged compresor and it does not blow fuse so might have found problem. wot do you think.

Well guys auto elec came out today turns out broken wire to relay only problem now the EAS needs resetting as anybody in the manchester area with a reset tool will pay them only could do with car tonight have bought a reset tool of ebay .

Thanks for all your ideas guys tried relay but no luck rang auto elec coming out tomorrow will let you know if or wot he finds.

Thanks j but like i said car starts so i do not think it is starter,or battery, checked all engine fuses ok, like RAC man said no power to starter so maybe relay,.but can you give me name and number of garage anyway please

J the Range after reading threads you seem to be the man . RAC man did not say BECM out of sync one of the members on here did RAC man said xy switch at fault. wot do you think.

Hi can anybody help came out to 2001 p38 put key in all lights on but would not turn over, called out RAC he said it had lost power to starter motor run wire from battery and it started said the problem was xy switch on box but have also been told it could be becm sync anybody had same problem...
