The passenger door locks from the inside only, push the splined cap toward the door an turn to lock, reverse to open. Nice series, bin the checker plate though :)

I've been using Lancaster for the last couple of years, they advertise in the landy mags now as well. Fully comp £77.00 on my 2a, you have to be an old sod to get those numbers though ;)

I believe they are interchangeable.

You will have headrests, and they may be more comfy, but what adjustment do you think you will get in a truck cab? Unless you are 5 1/2 foot or less the seat position will be the same.

Have you got a steering damper fitted? On your steering arm there is a bracket linked to the chassis via a damper that could deal with a light wobble.

Sorry to jump in on this thread, but is there any way of getting rid of the play in the steering? My defender was easy enough I just changed the uj's, but i'm not sure where to start with the series.

That's a good buy for someone! The cat flap hinges are £35 each.

2.25 Diesel with OD, it will do 50-55 at a push, but not a pleasant experience. Like others have said pottering at 30 is fine.
