Insurance is up for renewal with Adrian Flux, they want £144 which includes a £30 processing fee. I am sure it used to be much lower than that?

How much do other people (please note the use of "people" rather than teenagers) pay for fully comp insurance? My landy is worth £3,800 and I limit the mileage to 5,000 miles a year.

Are you joking!!! I pay that monthly :(

I pay £150 a year fully comp valued at £3500. Still in my twenties just and 7 years NC!!!! And no limit on mileage

I don't know how you lot do it.

11 years NCB, clean license, no points, married, blah blah blah.

300tdi discovery R-reg, kept on the drive, few choice mods, even reduced the value to try and keep the insurance lower, 4,000miles limited.

£225

It is the cheapest car insurance quote I've had since I've been driving but I don't know how some of you get such amazing quotes....

Last year, I tried with all the big 4x4 specialists and couldn't get it lower than £400.

A couple wouldn't even cover me because I wanted a higher mileage allowance and European cover.

A lot of it depends on what area you live as some areas are 'high risk' due to thefts and vandalism etc.

I've just insured with flux for the first time, it's a second car so I can't use my no claims, cost me £340 a year fully comp valued at £3500, about £150 cheaper than anyone else quoted.
